Last month, industry leaders from across the world gathered in Poros for the inaugural Booking Manager Summit To Go 2026, co-hosted by Y/KNOT and MMK Booking Manager. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Saronic Gulf, the summit brought together fleet operators, charter agencies, shipyards and tourism experts to discuss the evolving dynamics of sailing tourism and the opportunities ahead.
One message resonated throughout every conversation:
The future of charter is not about selling boats. It's about creating experiences.
As traveler expectations evolve, the industry is being called to think beyond traditional sailing audiences and develop more accessible, meaningful and emotionally engaging journeys. From active cruises and wellness experiences to authentic destination discovery, sailing has the potential to connect with a much broader market than ever before.
Through workshops, strategic discussions and immersive experiences on and off the water, Summit To Go challenged participants to rethink how the industry creates value and how charter can become a gateway to unforgettable human experiences.
A huge thank you to all speakers, partners and participants who contributed their ideas, energy and vision.
Different conversations. Different perspectives. A different kind of summit.
